Life

Life has been so busy lately. Teagen has been growing leaps and bounds. Tomorrow is 4 months so I won't bore you with all the details twice. I will save that for her 4 month photo shoot.
I am now officially resigned from teaching and am enjoying staying at home as well as getting my photography business up and running. We are adjusting. Eli is being the awesome big brother that he is. He loves his sister. He teaches her many things and I only hope that this continues in the many years to come.
We have been spending time in the sun.(or in the shade for little Ms. T)
As well as introducing her to all the fun activities that life has to offer...the jumperoo!
She loves that little toy!
This is a horrible picture by all means...but I just love it!

Check out my cute feet!
I melt hearts!

48 mintues

It's getting better. Not to mention last night, she slept a whole 11 hours! I put her down at 6:30 but I always 'dream feed' her at 10 before she has the opportunity to wake up hungry(an AWESOME trick that really works well for all those wondering). Then, she slept until 6 in the morning. Fantastic. 6 uninterrupted hours of sleep. I felt amazing today.

1 hour 4 minutes

Getting better Ms. Teagen. Much better. I am so proud of you. And, because I can never resist a cute picture!

2 hours 6 minutes

That is how long it took you to get to sleep tonight. But, you are asleep. Just you and your thumb. No mommy. No daddy. No paci. Just you. I am proud of you. Tomorrow I look forward to 2 hours flat. It can only get better...right???

(for all you picture lurkers(auntie M)...don't get your hopes up anytime soon!)

3:21 AM

That is the time stamped on the computer. I have been in here since 2:25. You have been awake since 2:25. There is nothing wrong. You are awake. Wide. Awake. This is a reoccurring trend that I could live without. You used to sleep 6 hours. Now it is a sporadic 3. I am waiting. Waiting to see what you will do. You are fussing. I really don't think you can put yourself to sleep again. But, I am tired. Tired of standing over your crib. Tired of trying to get you back to sleep. I am tired. I love you. I really do. You are a toot. Here has been an hour. Nothing yet. You are still awake. Wide. Awake. The problem is now you are probably getting hungry. I will go feed you. You will go back to sleep. We will start this whole shenanigan again tomorrow night. I am tired. It makes me even more tired thinking about doing this tomorrow. But, I am alas not going back to work. We now have time to dedicate to this whole sleeping thing. Lots of time. It's me and you. I give it two weeks. I pray for my sanity. But, I see light. Sometime during the next two weeks you will be sleeping soundly again. This, I am sure. Bring it on.
