so much fun stuff

Teagen is in the learning stage. She soaks everything up and works so intently on something until she masters in. Right now, she loves doing whatever her brother is doing. This includes playing with the peg board, cooking in the kitchen, playing music(she plays piano while Eli plays guitar), puzzles and the list goes on. Eli is so good at sharing with her and occasionally he chooses to play by himself in his room as opposed to playing with her...however, this has only happened once and he was done after 5 minutes. She really likes taking blocks or other like things and putting them in bigger containers. It's really fun to watch. Then, she takes them out and starts over again.
She loves to put anything and everything in her mouth. She is a great eater and really enjoys everything as long as she likes the texture. On average, she eats double or triple what eli does. It's amazing.
She is so happy and content. She will play all by herself and really enjoys looking in the mirror.
She is doing "soo big" and clapping. This is so much fun for us because Eli couldn't have cared less about doing all these things.
She is easy going and will willingly ride along with me in the car to go run errands. I always carry her or put her in a carrier and she will talk to anyone. However, the second that someone makes eye contact with her, she gets this death hug on me for fear that I might pass her off(which I really never do).
Honestly, I can't remember if I already posted these and I am too darn tired to go look.
Minus the poor images quality...how can you not love these pictures? This was on our 'trip' to Arlington and I am surprised that I even took the camera out... But, wasn't she cute?

Here she is tapping...one of her fav. pastimes
always have to have a pooping picture...still having trouble with that, poor girl!

and, a comedy of error(again, sorry for the poor quality)

still here

Even though it's out of focus, I love this picture!

Well, we have had a few weeks of misery. Hopefully it is all over now and we are on the road to bigger and better things. In between illnesses, we have been tiling our bathroom. It has taken a while and we still aren't done. But, hopefully once it is finished then we can be on the road to getting our house put back together.

I have been working on Teagen's one year birthday invitations. I was supposed to have already sent them but am running a bit behind. I will post a recap once they go out in the mail. I think they are super cute. :)

Over the past couple of weeks, she has gotten so much bigger. Not literally because she is still hanging in the 25-50 percentile. I would give the exact measurements but we are due for a dr. appts. It's on the list this week.

She is an imitating machine. She loves it when you make noises with your tongue and she repeats it back to you. She likes to 'tap' on things and I will say, "T, tap tap" and away she will go taping.

She gives the biggest hugs. Especially when she sees someone coming near us and she is afraid that I am going to pass her off. She will literally rap her arms and legs around me and give the biggest nasty look you have ever seen.

She is a crawling machine. Not really into climbing, just crawling. She has managed to stand on her own for a few seconds but that is few and far between.

She still loves food. We just give her anything and everything and she will usually eat a lot of it. In fact, she probably eats double if not triple what her brother eats. And, she is still nursing! Growing girl, I tell you!

Overall, just a sweet, happy, loving baby. She is such a joy in our lives and we are enjoying every second that we spend with her.

cute photo shoot

Since T didn't get to wear her pretty Christmas dress to church on Christmas Eve, I thought I would take her out and snap a couple of pictures in it anyways. Well, it was freezing and the dress is short sleeves but I still got a couple. Then, I changed her into her purple mini that she didn't get to wear for her Aunt Megan's graduation. But, her diaper was kind of too big for the skirt but it was still cute nonetheless.
A cute one with her brother(I tried so hard to get him to take off his jacket but no luck)
This one cracks me up...might go up in our house...I love the mini(just for you megan)
Isn't that dress sweet?
Or, maybe she just makes the dress look good! :)
Just love my little girl

purging

Obviously, I am on a purging role tonight. My photog. website is down so I am taking the time to update our family blogs. Here is some more from our 'christmas' in Arlington. I think this might be the best picture ever of Uncle Andy and Aunt Megan. Ever. Thank me now! :)
Okay, they really are cute...
And, they gave T the cutest little wooden peg board thing-y. But, I just figured out today that she can get the entire small piece in her mouth...
But, this is the toy that she plays with consistently everyday. She really loves it! Thanks guys!
Here she is just trying to get a hold on everything that is going on!
Here is her first looks at her doll from DG and Papa. They are priceless.

glare

Have I mentioned that she has the cutest little smrik/glare?

cute happenings

A few random, sweet pictures of my little girl...

She loves to help me sort through my photography mail...
How do you resist these eyes...around here you don't!
Having fun playing with the bowl
Sweet picture with papa bob
Pretty sure this one will be printed and in my house! This is T with Papa Bob
Don't you just love that huge cloth diaper! Ha!! Cracks me up everytime!

guilt

I am slightly guilt stricken over Teagens lack of Christmas pictures this year but with illness and all...I just lost track of time. However, this one makes up for it!
And, I am never one to compare but I remembered this picture from Eli and his first Christmas..

Christmas tree farm

Here is Teagen enjoying cutting down her first Christmas tree...okay, she was cold and tired but she still had a smile on her face!

well, it was bound to happen

So, Eli got an ear infection and as a result, got pink eye. ughh...so gross. The words from the Dr. were "try not to let him get near the baby". Right, obviously, this wasn't their doctor because she knows that's not possible. Well, we thought we had missed it. I thought we got lucky. She got an ear infection and I thought that was it. I was wrong, she finally got it. Luckily, the antibiotics were good for both...the pink eye and the ear infection. And, for the proof. Look at these poor, pitiful eyes. So, so sad. Her case was both eyes and much worse than Eli's.
And, in case you can't see them in the black and white...look at her eyes in color...
But, she is still so cute!
During that same bathtime, Eli wanted to read to her during her bath...
Such a sweet brother(if only she could actually see the pages!) :)
As a result of said infections, she was unable to go to the Christmas service at church. But, not to worry, Adam was sick and so they stayed home together. Here is Eli and I leaving for Church but I wanted to include T in the picture without bringing her outside because it was so cold...
Minus my serious double chin...I really love these two!
