Look who's

Rolling from her tummy
to her back!
And playing with her fingers and toes!
and giving out a big ole belly laugh...but I have yet to get it on video!!!

Does this bow

make my head look big??

My brothers out of town

and I get a little bit of R&R. While Eli was away at his little DG and Papa camp, the little dainty thing got to spend a little one on one time with us. This included many of photo shoots as well as countless hours just watching her and babbling back and forth. It was a fun and special time.

Doesn't she just melt your heart???

4 months

Yes! We have finally hit it. You know that point where you are really starting to get in the swing of things. You slept 12 hours last night...minus a 'dream feed' and you napped twice in your crib today! I am so proud of you! You are currently napping 3 times a day with an extra 45 minute thrown in there occasionally. You are going down around 6 and waking up at 6. Seem to be following in your brothers footsteps.
What else is the dainty thing doing in her four month old shoes?
1. You are loving your brother. You could stare at him for hours.
2. You are smiling. You are just about to belly laugh. You have let out a couple of laughs but I am still waiting for the big burst of laughter.
3. You are eating every 4 hours
4. You have the best disposition. You are easy going and happy. Other than the carseat that is...which leads me to
5. You moved in to your big girl carseat. The lap of luxury as your dad and I refer to it as. I had to get you something pink because I feel like we are surrounded by bulldozers, tools and many other boy things. You slept in it one time...I though I got lucky but I stand corrected. You still hate your carseat.
6. You are putting yourself to sleep. This took MANY long nights but you seem to have gotten it!
7. You are a pisser. Not a technical term but you pee more than anyone. You were going through 3 diapers a night...even disposibles. I change your sheet everyday. We now have invested in the ultimate cloth diaper nightime solution and you can go 12 hours now...you are still very wet in the morning and I still have to change your sheet but atleast it doesn't wake you up. Needless to say your daddy says, "baby got back" because that diaper is HUGE. Pics to come later
8. You are your mommy's girl. I hope this last for many years.
9. You have recently discovered your exersaucer and jumperoo. You love them. Even if it's only for 3 minutes!
10. This month I figured out the Teagen is apparently a boys name. I swear I didn't know this when we named you. I think it's a very girl name. It fits you perfectly. I hope this doesn't traumatize you too much in the years to come. Feel free to go by Claire if you want, I am okay with this!
Okay, that was way more than 4 things but, hey, it has been a great month for little Miss T!

Don't you think she had a good time?

Vacation

So, we ventured out on our first trip as a family of four. We went to the sunny land of Arlington. We spent days filled with margaritas, swimming by the pool, enjoying our oceanfront view, dining on some of lifes greatest pleasures...o wait, that was before kids. Instead, we spent hours and hours crammed in a car(thank god for the gas guzzler) filled with our wordly possessions(the pack and play, Eli's tools, diapers, clothes, food, baby bathtub, etc...) and embarked upon Uncle Andy and Aunt Megans house for a 4 day adventure. I wouldn't go back to the latter, it was a blast! Here are some from Teagen's eyes! She enjoyed it very much! More pictures to come soon. Check out the little mans blog for a whole recap!

Life

Life has been so busy lately. Teagen has been growing leaps and bounds. Tomorrow is 4 months so I won't bore you with all the details twice. I will save that for her 4 month photo shoot.
I am now officially resigned from teaching and am enjoying staying at home as well as getting my photography business up and running. We are adjusting. Eli is being the awesome big brother that he is. He loves his sister. He teaches her many things and I only hope that this continues in the many years to come.
We have been spending time in the sun.(or in the shade for little Ms. T)
As well as introducing her to all the fun activities that life has to offer...the jumperoo!
She loves that little toy!
This is a horrible picture by all means...but I just love it!

Check out my cute feet!
I melt hearts!
