so special

Teagen was baptised on Sunday. As fate had it, I just planned something really small. This turned out to be a really good idea as Eli came down with croup the night before. Luckily, we had planned to get her baptised at the fountain outside of the church so Eli still got to come.
It was so quiet, serene, intimate and special. That is how it should be. It was perfect.

let's see

Here is a rundown...
She is the cutest chubby baby. ever.
This look could come back to haunt me when she's a teenager
Always chews on her bottom lip
Was constipated for 4 days and her daddy took a picture of her trying to poop
Her hands and feet are so cute!!
She is 7.5 months and is pulling up on all fours like she wants to crawl but then she gets really pissed when she can't and plops down and starts crying. I then scoop her up and carry her because, the day will come, when she would rather crawl around than have me pick her up.
Time has flown by with Teagen and I could swear that she is still a month old. Can't I just have a little bit longer?? It is amazing to me that she is so close to being a year old. Hold on while I catch my breath. Did you hear that??? She is over half way to a year. I really might cry. But, she is sweet and fun and loveable. She still really, really loves her mama. If I am around, I had better pick her up. She will play in the exersaucer for almost an hour if her dad is watching her but the second that I try that...ha! lucky if I get enough time to pee.
Still cloth diapering. Loving it. I got a diaper sprayer that you hook onto the toilet to spray the poop off of the diapers. Good idea, in theory. Except, I get poopy water sprayed in my face. However, don't let this deter you(my sweet neighbor) I have found a better solution.
I have never seen a baby try to poop as hard as this little dainty thing. I know, TMI for many but it has consumed our lives for the past 5 days so I thought I would document.

Smiles, smiles, smiles

I got some great pictures of Teagen the other day with my new camera!
She has been just wonderful as always but has a bit of seperation anxiety when it comes to her mommy. What can I say, she's a mommy's girl!
She is sitting up so well now. She is also starting to 'crawl'. Not on all fours but she is scooting around. She is eating and still constipated. But, she is starving and eating so much that my supply is having a hard time keeping up. So, we have to stay on those solids. I started adding a little bit of flax oil when I make the food as well as mixing in apple juice with it when I puree. Hoping this helps. And, yes, I am still making her food. And cloth diapering. Still on that crunchy bandwagon! :)

Seriously only the second picture that I have gotten of them together. Ever. Not great at all but I still love it!

and

Yes, those are cloth diapers that you see on her cute little bum. Yes, I did cloth diaper while we were out of town. 5 days and only 2 disposibles. I am so very proud of myself! And, just icing on the cake...they almost all matched her outfits!
hmm...this just might inspire my friend C to convert...just saying :)

6 month

Just some of T's 6 months that I snapped before we went out of town. Yes, some of these will become very, very large gallery wraps hung around the house.

I got these in like 3 minutes. I often wonder what I would get if I had 2 free hours to take pictures of her. Just her and I. A girls photo session. I might just have to try this out this weekend.
