Bye Bye Friend

It's been a fun ride but I think it's time for us to go our separate ways. Our relationship seems to be one way. You fall down, I pick you up. You are dirty, I clean you. You come out, I pop you back in. You go missing, I look for you. Really, your performance is below average these days. You don't seem to stop the crying but rather frustrate it to a whole new level. Yes, our days are coming to an end. It has been a fun ride, you have been with us since the beginning but your time has come. This is one relationship that I can live without. So, here we say our goodbyes. It has been nice knowing you.

A fun Daddy day

We met Adam at a park for a picnic lunch the other day. Teagen thoroughly enjoyed herself. She did a little of this(a VERY rare occurrence), a little of that and of course some of this
She does pretty well with going places as long as she is not in the carseat. She screamed bloody murder the WHOLE ride over to the park and conked out as soon as the car stopped!

A night out on the town

We decided to go to Chuys for dinner(and a margarita) tonight. Although we have been to restaurants with Teagen, this was our first 'busy' restaurant time. We usually go to eat at like 4 when nobody else is around and our noises don't bother anyone! Although, all the drunk people around us couldn't even hear Teagens little cries over their loud voices!

Oldie but goody

Here's to the days of being able to sleep anywhere.

Auntie M

Happy Birthday Auntie M! I love you!!

Oops

So, I forgot to post about Easter. Oops. Too busy. We did celebrate but really it was for Eli. Teagen came along for the ride!(Check out the snot...it is nonstop for her!)
Check out the little mans blog for more on Easter. www.elijoseph.blogspot.com

A little tummy time

So, Teagen sleeps on her tummy. Eli slept on his tummy. This is what works for us. I slept on my tummy and Adam on his when we were babies and we don't seem to have suffered any long term damage. I never did tummy time with Eli. He hated it but oddly enough, loved sleeping on his tummy. Anyways, I think 'tummy timed' was invented as a ploy to get parents to buy, yet another baby product. And, if you know me, you know I am like a stinkin Babies R Us over here. So, yes I have the tummy time mat. Anyways, I just hadn't used it with Ms. Teagen but I thought today we would give it a whirl. She was suprisingly willing for about 2 minutes and could hold her head up super high!
Way to go my dainty thing! Maybe I will get my money's worth out of the mat...or maybe not.
